All the actions, gestures and activations organised within the Uncommon Fruits project were sustained by one main methodological framework: that to explore fruits’ flavours, smells and stories one would need to encounter and explore the landscape where these were generated from. From the first collective action, Joining the Land, to the research work by Philipp and Suzanne, to Uncommon Woods and other workshops, we always tried to ground the research on fruits transforming it into a research on the forest, on abandonments, on climate, on language and histories.
We are happy to invite you to join us on three fruit-centered informal walks that will cross the landscapes between Topolò/Topolove on one end and Kojsko on the other.
These walks are intended as occasions to spend slow time together, exploring and sensing the landscape, its other-than-human inhabitants, and its fruits — not as guided tours or touristic activities. They will be informal, spontaneous, and joyful moments of embodied collective research. We value every contribution you may bring: exercises to do along the way (for the body, the senses, or the mind), moments of reading and listening, and shared knowledge about foraging, biology, wildlife, etc.

Oct. 18, 2025 from 09:00 – 16:00
