We are happy to invite you to the event Towards the garden the 10th of January at Van Doesburg Hause in Paris!
Together with our dear friend Tymon we will host the finissage of his residency at the Van Doesburghuis and our Robida 11 magazine presentation.
It’s our first presentation of the last issue Robida 11 Orchard/Frutteto/Sadovnjak abroad and, after Amsterdam and Berlin, this year it will be in Paris!!!
Address:
Theo Van Doesburg Hause
29 Rue Charles Infroit, 92190 Meudon, France
This is the program of the afternoon:
at 15.00 _ Van Doesburg House’s tour
The event takes place in the Van Doesburg’s studio-house in Meudon (1930). A rare, intact manifesto of De Stijl ideals. Designed for himself and his wife Nelly, completed shortly before his death, the house embodies the Van Doesburg’s belief in art as a dynamic, transformative force. As current architect in residence, Tymon will be giving a tour.
at 16.00 _ Residency finissage and presentation: Avantgarde(n), a garden that never came to be
Tymon Hogenelst will present his design and research for the garden of the Van Doesburghuis. Through an Open Call by the Stimuleringsfonds he was selected with his proposal Avantgarde(n), a garden that never came to be to design the garden of the Van Doesburghuis.
Atelier Tymon Hogenelst is an architecture practice that works on projects related to architecture and landscape and has a strong interest in rural methods and how these can be transformed with a non-nostalgic critical attitude, into a modern architectural landscape.
at 17.00 _ Robida’s presentation
Vida, Elena, Antônio from Robida will present the work of Robida collective through recent pubbications: the last issue of the magazine about Orchards, the Uncommon Fruits for Common Recipes book, Log: Notes on Building-with and Transmissions: Radio Essays on Edges, Crossings and Narrowcasting Borderlands.
